Marja Blomqvist is currently a part-time researcher in BIT in GLOBENET project. Besides research and teaching activities at Helsinki University of Technology, she works in consulting & training. She obtained her Lic. Sc degree while working as researcher at TAI, the predecessor of BIT, and has worked in the electronics industry for 5 years before re-joining BIT. Her current research interests are related to operations strategy and supply chain management, especially the structure of manufacturing network and its impact on the whole supply chain.
